ThingFling had a challenge: Create an E-Commerce system designed for an unusual business model. ThingFling offers only one item for sale at a time. With such a unique retail model, special challenges arise such as keeping a product with inventory on the site at all times and combining multiple orders into one shipment to save cost. ThingFling also needed help with marketing. Custom Solutions included building an active and open forum community, creating unique community incentives for purchases, and creating huge Google and Yahoo site maps using Tiny Gecko's proprietary and automated multi-threaded site map "spidering" software.

Though originally commissioned to fix small problems with their YAF forum, ThingFling quickly saw Tiny Gecko's strong E-Commerce background and their ability to see the big picture. The relationship blossomed into a full-scale development partnership called Ergon Commerce. Before Tiny Gecko's E-Commerce development, ThingFling didn't even have batch order processing. Now they have a complete E-Commerce solution with an enormous array of features - all specific to their needs.
