Jon Ren is a excellent and successful wildlife artist who didn't have his own web presence. A lot of artists just get a template site that
looks unoriginal. Jon wanted something unique and more modern. He also wanted to be able to handle all of the management of the site himself.
Tiny Gecko delivered by setting up an Umbraco CMS and customizing all elements to met Jon's needs. For example, Jon required an automatic watermarking system for his paintings so they could not be downloaded and reproduced. The system Tiny Gecko created for Jon allows him to upload any image and it will be automatically watermark and resizing depending on the context.
Starting with Umbraco CMS allowed Tiny Gecko to create a site that is easy to manage, easy to modify and is already Search Engine friendly. Thanks to leverage existing open source technologies, Tiny Gecko was able to give Jon a clean and manageable site and Tiny Gecko was able to deliver a completed site that exceeded Jon's expectations.
